How does the Lord bless us?
There are so many ways God blesses us.
Blessed people, bless people.
The Lord wants to bless us so we can continue to be a blessing unto others.
We have to thank God for blessing us from things SEEN & UNSEEN.
The Lord may bless us without us even knowing it.
Here are 3 main ways God blesses us with a few scriptures to share through each experience.
#1 God Bless us directly through Him.
God blessed the Israelites in the wilderness with bread from heaven.
Just when they needed it the most, the Lord allowed a blessing to come from heaven to also test them.
Blessings come in many forms & ways.
In this case the Lord allowed a test to take place.
He tests our heart, our mind & our faith in Him.
4 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you. And the people shall go out and gather a certain quota every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in My law or not. (Exodus 16:4)
#2 God blesses us through our own hands.
When we move & operate under the power of the Holy Spirit.
God can move in mighty ways through our very own labor, through our own hands!
2 The Lord was with Joseph, and he was a successful man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. 3 And his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord made all he did to prosper in his hand. 4 So Joseph found favor in his sight, and served him. Then he made him overseer of his house, and all that he had he put under his authority. 5 So it was, from the time that he had made him overseer of his house and all that he had, that the Lord blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake; and the blessing of the Lord was on all that he had in the house and in the field. 6 Thus he left all that he had in Joseph’s hand, and he did not know what he had except for the bread which he ate. (Genesis 39:2-6)
God blessed Joseph no matter WHAT season he was in or what he was going through.
Even being a slave to Potipher the Lord still blessed Joseph's hands.
Not only was Joseph blessing those with his very own hands, but also the household he served in became blessed!
#3 God blesses us through other people.
We become blessed so God can help us bless others.
Blessed people really do bless people.
6 Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” 7 And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. 8 So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God. 9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God. (Acts 3:6-9)
Peter was used to heal this lamed man.
As the Lord calls us to ministry, He will allow us to be used to bless others.
This man received a blessing from God in a form of healing that was Peter who was used as a vessel in Jesus' name!
Again, there are so many ways that God blesses us.
We can pray & ask the Lord to continue to allow us to see these blessings.
& we might not see every blessing, but we can always give praise, honor & glory to God no matter what!
