There are several voices out there… not all voices are God’s
#1 The world's voice
#2 The Devil’s voice
#3 Our flesh’s voice
#4 God’s voice
Just know, even if you are fasting, you can still hear the Devi’s voice.
In Matthew 4, Jesus was lead into the wilderness by the Holy Spirit & He heard the Devil’s voice
#1 God speaks through people
In Acts chapter 2 we see Peter bold & preaching the word of God… then we see 3 thousands souls come into the Kingdom of God
41 Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. 42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. (Acts 2:41-42)
#2 God speaks through prayer
20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, (Jude 1:20)
#3 God speaks through the bible
16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, (2 Timothy 3:16)
#4 God speaks through dreams & visions
6 Then He said, “Hear now My words:If there is a prophet among you,I, the Lord, make Myself known to him in a vision;I speak to him in a dream. (Numbers 12:6)
Let's continue to pray & seek the Lord when we believe we hear God's voice.
There are several ways to test what we hear.
Continue to ask the Lord for confirmation.
Pray He opens your spiritual ears & eyes on every situation.
