HOW GOD’S WISDOM IS GREATER THAN MAN's Wisdom

God is our ultimate source of wisdom.

Many people think they are “wise”, but really they just have a lot of knowledge.

When we get wisdom that comes from Him, we are able to be set apart.

We will have good judgement in every situation that comes our way.

Wisdom is the ability to have correct judgement to make the best decision.

Our knowledge and understanding directly correlate to wisdom.

Wisdom is not fear of the unknown, but making godly decisions based on what is known and understood.

The fear of the Lord, a reverence for God, births wisdom from God

because all will know that it comes from Him and not from you.

True wisdom comes from above.

“Because the foolishness of God is wiser than the wisdom of men, and the weakness of God is stronger than man.” (1 Corinthians 1:25 NKJV)

KEYS ON GETTING WISDOM FROM GOD:

#1) PRAY FOR WISDOM

“If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.” (James 1:5 NLT)

Ask. believe, and you will receive. God already communicates to us in this passage that he desires and wills for us to have wisdom, so asking in faith for it will without a doubt lead to receiving.

#2 FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD’S SPIRIT

If bad company corrupts good character, then good company sharpens good character. You become like who you are surrounded by and if you are in fellowship with the Holy Spirit, then you will learn wisdom from Him. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of wisdom.

#3 GET UNDERSTANDING

To get wisdom, you first need understanding, which is the tie between knowledge and wisdom.

“Wisdom is the principal thing, therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” (Proverbs 4:17 KJV)

“Wisdom rests in the heart of him who has understanding, but what is in the heart of fools is made known.” (Proverbs 14:33 NKJV)

“A scoffer seeks wisdom and does not find it, But knowledge is easy to him who understands.” (Proverbs 14:6 NKJV)

“He who disdains instruction despises his own soul, But he who heeds rebuke gets understanding.” (Proverbs 15:32 NKJV)

Understanding is a principle of wisdom, the one that is the converter of knowledge into wisdom.

We gain from it knowledge and wisdom, and we gain it from correction and rebuke.

When we allow God to correct us, we know he does it out of love in order for us to gain understanding.

When we can operate from a place of wisdom and not emotions, our lives begin to be transformed through God.

Who is the only one who can give a wise and discerning heart (1 King 3:9-14)

God’s wisdom triumphs over all, because he knows and sees all.
