You're not planted in a church if you're not serving.
We must get planted so we can bear fruit.
Because every fruit has a root! & the only way to bear fruit is to have roots.

To do ministry is service. To serve!
Every person is called to serve God, & the Lord will position us on how to serve.
Salvation is when you have Jesus.
Discipleship is when Jesus has you.
There is power in being planted in ministry.
There is purpose in being planted in ministry.
When you are planted in a church, you'll bear fruit & accelerate your walk with Christ as a real disciple.
Being planted is healthy.
Being planted lays down accountability.
Being planted allows us to move in glory.
12 The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. 13 Those who are planted in the house of the Lord Shall flourish in the courts of our God. (Psalm 92:12-13)
Community is very important.
“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. 5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. 8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. (John 15:1-8)
The vine - Jesus is the vine & the source of life and sustenance for the branches.
The branches - The followers of Jesus who draw life and the ability to grow and bear fruit from the vine.
The vinedresser - God the Father is the gardener who takes care of the vineyard.
Abide - to abide in the vine means to be connected to it & receive nourishment.
Bearing fruit - Fruit comes from being connected to the vine.
Pruning - To cut off what is needed to be cut in order for spiritual growth.
When you plant seed, make sure it's good soil.
Certain plants can't grow if the soil isn't good. Soil can be rotten.
1 Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. 3 He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. (Psalm 1:1-3)
When you're in righteousness with God & planted with the Lord, you will bear fruit in due season!
We are called to be fruit inspectors.
We are also called to be root inspectors.
A plant can't survive without roots because the primary functions of a root is to absorb water & nutrients which are essential for survival for a plant.
Just like people, plants need water & nutrients to grow! Roots are the anchor for the plant & help plant survive periods with too much or too little water or nutrients.
The time it takes for a plant to grow roots depends on the type of plant, the conditions it's in, & whether it's being propagated form a cutting or transplanted.
